eLearning Designer/Developer

We are seeking a talented and innovative eLearning Graphics Designer with proven Articulate Storyline skills to craft sophisticated and effective eLearning experiences.

Who are you?

You have a strong foundation in graphic design combined with technical proficiency in developing engaging, interactive eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline. You will play a pivotal role in the conceptualization, design, development, and delivery of high-quality eLearning courses. You will work closely with instructional designers, animators, other artists, and subject matter experts to craft high-quality, engaging, and interactive courses that meet the unique needs of our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will possess a seamless balance of creativity, attention to visual standards, and technical sophistication.

What will you do?

  • Design and create custom graphical assets such as diagrams, infographics, illustrations, slide templates and layouts, and interactive elements (e.g. buttons, links, headings, states).
  • Interpret and convert instructional design scripts and visual storyboards into fully functional and error-free interactive courses.
  • Recommend and implement best practices in design, layout, navigation, functionality, multimedia integration, interactivity, tracking, and overall user experience for Storyline courses.
  • Conduct thorough testing to identify and troubleshoot issues related to user experience, visual standards, content, functionality, or technical glitches.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with project managers and team members to provide updates, identify issues, address concerns, and ensure overall alignment between course objectives and development.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers and developers, sharing expertise and specific techniques.
  • Document design and development processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in eLearning design and development, and provide recommendations for tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance course design and development processes.

What skills will you bring?

  • Post-secondary degree in digital media, graphic design, educational technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and developing advanced eLearning courses using Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate Storyline.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) a must.
  • Strong visual communication skills and understanding of UX/UI design principles.
  • Expert knowledge of Storyline trigger system and interactivity techniques.
  • Strong creative thinking skills, with the ability to design fresh and appealing graphics for a variety of educational topics.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of custom-designed interactive courses.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to clearly convey ideas and feedback.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality, with the natural ability to review and evaluate eLearning content for visual consistency, content accuracy, functionality, and overall completeness.

Instructional Designer (eLearning)

Are you an experienced eLearning Instructional Designer looking for an opportunity to do creative, imaginative, and innovative work? Would you like to write content for a variety of industries and topic areas? Do you want to work with some of the best multimedia developers in the industry? If so, we’d like to hear from you!

Dynacor is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative Instructional Designer to write eLearning courses for corporate clients. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, is passionate about learning development, and knowledgeable about the latest research in instructional design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients and internal stakeholders to establish project goals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate content requirements and accuracy.
  • Write eLearning outlines that include a) learning objectives, b) instructional strategies, c) assessment strategies, d) content sequence, e) a visual approach, and f) interactivities.
  • Write eLearning storyboards that include a) all components from the outline, b) voice over script, c) precise visual descriptions, d) on-screen text, and e) development instructions.
  • Incorporate client feedback into your storyboards. Recognize and communicate how changes may impact the instructional design.
  • Create materials and documents for instructor-led training (ILT), including facilitator guides, reference guides, job aids, manuals, and presentations.
  • Provide support and directions for the development team to bring your instructional design to life.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews prior to sending the project to the client.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience writing eLearning within a corporate environment.

You also possess the ability to:

  • Analyze business requirements and propose instructional strategies to meet them.
  • Organize and interpret complex information.
  • Research information to supplement client provided content.
  • Apply ID models, instructional strategies, and adult learning principles.
  • Design highly interactive digital learning strategies (e.g. branching, story-based, game-based, etc.).
  • Communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and when under stress.
  • Manage eLearning design projects.

You are a 3D expert who will play a pivotal role in transforming complex concepts into captivating 3D visual content and managing various stages of 3D production. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in 3D modeling, lighting, rigging, rendering, and texturing, along with a keen eye for detail, creative problem-solving, and technical art skills.

  • Create and optimize realistic and stylized 3D models based on concept art or real-life references.
  • Create rigging structures using bones, deformers, and controls to prepare models for animation, ensuring that characters and objects move in a realistic and controlled manner.

  • 3+ years experience in 3D modeling, specifically with creating and rigging characters, vehicles, machinery, props, and environments.
  • Strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing a range of 3D models and visual styles, character rigging, lighting, texturing, and rendering.
  • Excellent skills and techniques in rigging, modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and rendering, with an emphasis on hard surface modeling and clean topology.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy, form, and movement for character creation.
  • Strong aesthetic sensibilities and artistic vision, with the ability to visualize complex concepts and designs.
  • Mastery of industry-standard 3D software including Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Character Creator, and Advanced Skeleton.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard 3D rendering applications such as Arnold and V-Ray.
  • Experience with 3D game engines such as Unreal Engine and Unity, and associated workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) a must.
  • Solid understanding of the complete 3D production pipeline and management of production environments.
  • Keen eye for detail, especially in texture, color, and lighting, with the ability to refine and optimize visual elements to enhance realism or stylization.
  • Knowledge in task automation and scripting languages like Python, or MEL, a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to clearly convey ideas and feedback.
